This course includes practical and theoretical elements relevant to working near water. Delegates will be introduced to industry best practice, focusing upon the avoidance of water hazards and development of safe systems of work. The course also looks at the personal skills necessary to be able to maintain self-inflating lifejackets and buoyancy aids suitable for an industrial environment, as well as how react to a water incident on an individual level with respect to self-rescue and rescue of peers in a bank-based capacity.
